Water’s still running low across the chain, and Eustis is no exception — but the bass haven’t slowed down. Surface temps sitting in the low-to-mid 80s means fish are pushing to structure and deeper water during the heat of the day.
What’s working: Texas-rigged worms are still the go-to on Eustis, especially dragged slow through deeper holes as the sun climbs. Early mornings, fish are still shallow around residential canal edges and grass lines — try a spinnerbait or topwater before 9am, then transition to slower presentations as it heats up.
Where to look: With the water down, structure that’s normally submerged is more exposed — use that to your advantage and target the deeper breaks and holes where fish are stacking to escape the heat.
Heads up: Low water means extra caution running canals and connecting waters — trim your motor up through skinny sections and always follow posted speed zones.
